Bij Knappoque voegt men er nog een dimensie aan toe: men gebruikt voor het bottelen enkel vaten uit één jaar (vintage) en wel het jaar waarin de whiskey is gedistilleerd.

Blended Malt finished in Peated Quarter Casks.  

Single Malt Matured in Bourbon Barrels and Finished in P.X. Sherry Casks. Small Batch  

For our Port Cask expression, our Master Distiller finishes the whiskey in casks imported from the Douro Valley in Portugal in a process which adds a sweetness with spicy notes and a beautiful rich colour.
