Flesinhoud: 700 ml

Distilled and Bottled in Scotland, again, much like The Ileach Malt Whisky - an unknown distillery bottling.
Bottle style is that of Bruichladdich Distillery - but again - we are not told!

Tasting Notes
Nose / Pungent peat smoke, phenolic with a little coastal breeze.
Palate / Lovely sweet peatiness. Some iodine and sea salt balanced with vanilla notes and some spice.
Finish / Waves of Smoke. Fantastic length.

Proefnotitie

The nose is very sweet with loads of citrus and spices, but also a bunch of banana and malt. The peat and brine also rear their heads after some hand warmth. Quiet moment before the storm? Taste The attack is slightly oily, sweet and salty. The Islay character is obvious now. Yes, this could in fact contain Laffie. Briny seawater, iodine, greasy coals, followed by sweet fruit. Full mouthfeel. Light spices. Finish The finish is spicy and smoky, as it should be, and medium in length.
