Dat Sipsmith nog maar een prille ginstokerij is, die in 2009 werd opgestart is te merken aan het feit dat ze ingrediënten uit verschillende uithoeken van de wereld weten te verwerken. Hiernaast maken ze nog steeds gebruik van een traditioneel productieproces waardoor er gesproken kan worden over de zogenaamde one-shot-gin.  Bij dit proces wordt de exacte hoeveelheid botanische producten gedistilleerd, in plaats van te werken met een verdubbeling van de hoeveelheid die een tijdsvoordeel oplevert.
