Distilled and Bottled in Scotland, again, much like The Ileach Malt Whisky - an unknown distillery bottling. Bottle style is that of Bruichladdich Distillery - but again - we are not told!

Contrasts: Peat Smoke sherry cask finished 57ppm

The third batch of Benromach's Cask Strength Vintage 2012 single malt was matured in a combination of bourbon and first-fill sherry casks until it was bottled in 2022. The palate brings notes of rich spices, stewed fruit, Seville orange zest, toasted oak and whispers of smoke that linger in the finish.

Veel van de sherry en fruit in deze, is Glenfarclas 12 oorspronkelijk gebotteld voor export en reizen retailmarkten. In 2006 werd uitgeroepen tot "Beste Sherried Whisky" in de Single Malt World Cup, en in 2007 en 2008 won het goud aan de Stockholm Bier en Whisky Festival.

 Ardmore heeft zijn portfolio uitgebreid met deze twaalf jaar oude portfinish. De whisky kreeg zijn eerste rijping op de gebruikelijke bourbonvaten en werd voor de finish overgestoken op portvaten. Er werd gebruik gemaakt van zgn.

Een evenwichtige, zachte single malt uit de Speyside. Cardhu 12 is een zeer goed samengestelde malt.

Deze Cardhu 18 Years is complexer dan de 15-jarige, maar met behoud van de karakteristieke en toegankelijke Cardhu smaak. Deze geprezen Cardhu kenmerkt zich door een rijke fruitige smaak.

Compass Box's delicious Spice Tree was briefly illegitimate, according to SWA regulations. After adjusting its creation, Spice Tree is back, and better than ever. It's a blended malt made from Highland malt whiskies, aged in specially made casks with new French oak heads.

A peaty offering and a vatted malt created by the renowned John Glaser, of Compass Box. The Peat Monster contains whisky from secret distilleries (all very cloak and dagger). They can tell us that some was from the village of Port Askaig in Islay, with some south coast Islay whisky too, vatted with Ardmore.

De distilleerderij staat in Blackford, Perthshire. Werd in 1994 gesloten, maar in 2003 door vier inversteerders aangekocht en weer in werking gezet. Er wordt nu uitsluitend voor malt whisky geproduceerd.

Released in 2013, this fabulous bottling from Tullibardine sees the rich, malty whisky finished for 12 months in top-quality 500-litre sherry butts. The result is something to behold.
