Deze no-age single malt whisky van Tomatin is gerijpt in een combinatie van ex-Bourbon en verse Virgin oak vaten.

The Original is het vlaggenschip van de single malt Scotch whisky van de Glemorangie-distilleerderij in de Hooglanden. Gerijpt in een combinatie van first-and-second-fill Amerikaanse witte eikenhouten vaten gedurende 10 jaar, is de uitdrukking een maatstaf voor romige, laagdrempelige single malt.

De geturfde uitvoering van Edradour

  Jarenlang de kleinste distilleerderij van Schotland. Gebouwd in 1825 door een aantal boeren die hier whisky gingen distilleren voor eigen gebruik. Het was toen het best bewaarde geheim van Schotland, niemand kende de Edradour whisky.

Het is weer een schitterende batch van de Batch Strength-release van Tamdhu! Dit is de 7e release in de sherried-serie van de Speyside-distilleerderij, die uitsluitend gerijpt is in Oloroso-vaten. Met 57.5% ABV springen die kenmerkende tonen van sherry kruiden, bessen en geroosterde noten gewoon uit het glas.

Laphroaig Lore is a 2016 addition to the distillery's range. Made up of whiskies aged in a combination of quarter casks, sherry casks and reused peated casks. This is rich and classically peaty with a spicy chili bite and a long, sweet aftertaste.

Dewar's 12 year old blend, called 'Double Aged' due to the 6 months of marrying in oak casks that the whisky does after initial maturation and blending. Dewar's is one of the world's most awarded whiskies, recently winning the Monde Grand Gold across their range.

Matured in Hogshead 7617, 11yr  distilled 25-06-2010 bottled 09-09-2021

Gerijpt in PX en Oloroso sherry vaten

Springbank Rundlets and Kilderkins Single Scotch Malt Whisky 49.4% 70cl   Distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2012 after being matured in smaller than usual casks (Springbank Rundlets & Kilderkins).

Work in Progress was een feest om te volgen, het niveau steeg en de verwachtingen voor deze twaalf jaar oude zijn dus hooggespannen. De whisky lijkt hieraan moeiteloos te voldoen volgens de eerste commentaren.
